Gidday all - a Friendly Reminder

 

Our Calendar has been set for Season 2019/2020

 

Entries will be posted here & on our Facebook page

 

If you intend to race - Please get your entries in as early as possible - this helps with organising your race meeting - tracks require confirmed field numbers / draws need to be done / programs need printing / prize money - tow money arranged - we are all volunteers & racers just like you

 

Nominations & Entries will close on the Monday night (8pm) of the week that we race

All Nominated entries that have paid by this time will go into the drawers - all other entries received & paid for after the cut off date - will be deemed as 'Late' & will start from the rear of the field in all heats - The late entry fee for this event will also need to be paid prior to the car being scrutineered - Scrutineers will have a list of Paid / Non Paid entrants - its easier for all concern to get your entries in early people - its easy people - get in early

 

To enter a race, you need to do the following.

1: Return your completed entry form to Ronza George prior to the cut off date (email or text - snail mail).
2: Pay your entry prior to the cut off date

 

 

You will need to post, e-mail or message me a copy of the entry back or you are not entered.

 

My apologies -

I haven't the time to continually chase drivers who either nominate & don't pay - or give me a courtesy call and make arrangements

 

NOTE : If you pay and don't turn up to the scheduled event (unless arranged with myself or another office bearer) - you'll forfeit all moneys paid. If you've arranged prior & have a legitimate reason - it'll be refunded into your nominated account.

If you've entered an event & its cancelled by the Association - same applies - money will be refunded..

Also there were a couple of additions voted on for the rule Book.

1 > Prize money now to be split between Prize money and Tow money.
2 > State Title to held at a different track each year unless voted on by drivers.
3 > All Race starts to be 2 x 2 until a race lap is complete.
4 > Rally Tyres will be allowed to run again this year (at tracks that allow them) after the Open Title in June 2019

RESULTS FROM ROUND 1

DROUIN SPEEDWAY

Drouin Speedway Club opened their 2015/16 season on a fantastic warm spring day where 700 motorsport enthusiasts along with the Victorian Crash & Bash Association - the head act producing a great forty lap final that seen plenty of hits dished out as Jason McKendry went on to victory.

 

The nine heat races were won by Rob Disher, Jason McKendry, Peter Cox, Craig McKendry, Jason McKendry, Shannon Mair, Peter Cox, Craig McKendry & Glen Bosanko.

With Peter Cox & Jason McKendry qualifying on the front row. It did not take long before cars found themselves in trouble in this contact racing division. Jason McKendry led the race with Disher & Lennie Bonnici amongst those chasing him.

Ricky Born & Daniel Wanders were amongst those causing mayhem whilst Brad Warren, James Kane, Bosanko & Mair were battling amongst themselves trying to get closing to the leaders.

Jason McKendry even had contact with his brother Craig towards the end of the race.

CANCELLED - AS OF 29/11/2015

The Crash n Bash faithful will return to Daylesford Speedway next weekend after missing from our calender for a few years.

It's looking like the numbers are well down - possibly due to the recent 'bash fest' that was served up at Nagambie.

Good luck to all the men's & ladies racing - lets hope that you are all safe & the cars make onto the trailers under there own steam :)

Crash n Bash returned to the famous ''Granite Rock Speedway' - Bairnsdale

It was ripper night with a large field that made the journey East for the event.

Racing was fast & resulted in a few heavy crash's & rollovers > Dinky was helped over by Nathan, Habby was helped over by Jake.

RESULTS FROM ROUND 5

NYORA SPEEDWAY

Crash n Bash returned to Nyora Speedway.

It was a great night racing - the track was wet early in the 1st round of heats - the surface caught out a few drivers - resulting in some big spins & a few flat tyres were to be had throughout the field. Matthew Habby had done an awesome job re-shelling his car after his Bairnsdale rollover.

Racing was close & fast - with yet another rollover in the final - Fred's #10 was helped over in turn 4 by Nathan Taylor. A few cars will need some TLC prior to the title in a few weeks.

Crash n Bash will start the New Year off with a 'bang' - at the famous ''Granite Rock Speedway' - Bairnsdale

This should be a ripper night meeting with a large field expected to make the journey East for the event.

Anyone looking for accomodation - book early - there is also camping at the track over night for those that are keen.
